Washington DC: Bringing School Supplies to Kids in Need

 

     Education leaders must grapple with seemingly impossible choices that balance health risks associated with in-person learning against the educational needs of children. We want to make sure the D.C. Metropolitan Area students who are returning to in-person learning start the year with confidence and essential items needed for a great school year. 

 

Join Konsider Dis, Washington Parks and People and Taste of Pleasure  in helping make things happen in our community—like going the extra mile at work, at home — and helping others, like kids who need school supplies but can’t afford them.

 

We envision every child having the best learning opportunities possible, beginning with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. This vision can be hampered for many families by already stretched budgets. We hope to serve every student who attends, but we depend on additional financial support from businesses and organizations like yours.
