MEET THE HOST
A proud Washington, D.C. native, Nikki Nikkia is a community leader, media personality, and the founder and Executive Director of KonsiderDis. She's passionate about creating opportunities, building relationships, and helping people see what's possible when they have the right support and resources.
For nine years, Nikki co-hosted KonsiderDis Radio, using music and real conversations to tackle everything from relationships and community issues to personal growth and everyday life. Known for keeping it real, she created a space where people felt heard, challenged, and inspired. Although the show is currently on hiatus, its impact continues through archived episodes and the conversations they sparked.
Beyond the microphone, Nikki leads community initiatives that serve youth, families, seniors, returning citizens, and organizations throughout the DMV. Through signature initiatives like Healthy Helpings, MindFul Decisions, community engagement, behavioral health services, and customized programming, she partners with nonprofits, schools, developers, property management companies, and government agencies to create experiences that educate, inspire, and strengthen communities.
Nikki believes everything starts with "The Why." Her holistic approach focuses on the whole person—not just the situation—because when you understand the root, you can change the outcome. Whether she's developing programs, facilitating workshops, publishing books, producing media, or building partnerships, her mission remains the same: to leave every community stronger than she found it.
